Veggin' at the lake

We headed for Arkansas, ready to get back to our relaxing. After getting to Hot Springs, which we thought would be a good stop, we had some trouble finding anything…a campsite, a grocery store…so Darin did what he does best, hit up one of the locals at the gas station, who recommended a site for us on a nearby lake. It turned out to be one of our most beautiful stops yet…the lake on both sides of us and nice, wooded campsites. We had a great Father’s Day steak dinner (except Darin had to cook it himself), a cutthroat game of family Scrabble and enjoyed our campfire before retiring for the evening.
